Burning a TWG Tea Candle

LIGHTING

When lighting the candle for the first time, burn until liquid wax covers the entire surface.

TRIMMING

Trim the wick to 5mm and burn it in a draught-free area.

SURFACE

Do not place a lit candle directly on marble and never leave it unattended.

STORAGE

Store in a cool, dark and dry place to preserve the scent of your candle.

BURN TIME

Our candles can burn for up to 60 hours.

Caring for your Candle

Behind their charming simplicity, our candles reveal a captivating scent for the home. Re-centre the wick towards the middle once the candle has been extinguished and trim the wick to 5mm for a clean burn in the next use.

To extinguish, cover the candle with TWG Tea Candle Lids. Accompanied by a gilded rose cover which can be used to extinguish or cover the candle, or as a base to protect delicate surfaces.

Consider upcycling your candle jar when the wax level drops to ¼ or less, or when the metal wick sustainer becomes visible. Transform your candle jars into home décor, or repurpose the refined containers as sustainable works of art.
