Handmade by a renowned Kyoto potter using black Maguro stone from the Kamo River, please follow the care instructions below to maintain your TWG Tea Rikyu Matcha Bowl.

HAND WASHING

Soak it in lukewarm water for one minute before use. After each use, gently rinse with lukewarm water and dry with a soft cloth.

DRYING

Allow the bowl to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

STORAGE

Store your Rikyu Matcha Bowl in a cloth bag to protect it from moisture, and keep it separate from other items to avoid scratches.

Note: Avoid pouring boiling water directly into the bowl to prevent sudden temperature changes, and always rinse without detergent or abrasive sponges.
