1. Warm the Bowl
Gently warm the Rikyu Matcha Bowl, or chawan, with simmering water.
2. Measure the Matcha
Using a Chashaku Bamboo Tea Scoop, add 1 to 2 scoops (1½ to 2g) of Matcha or Matcha Nara, into the chawan.
3. Add the Water
Pour approximately 50 ml of water at 70°C to 80°C into the Rikyu Matcha Bowl.
4. Whisk to Perfection
Using a Chasen Bamboo Whisk, whisk the Matcha in a zigzag motion, gradually increasing speed until it becomes thick and smooth.
