A verdant terrain that stretches between deep mountain valleys and altitudes as high as 2,000 meters is home to the celebrated Darjeeling harvests. Every spring, the radiant sunlight in the cold Himalayan air results in dormant tea bushes to burst into life with their first spring harvests.
The unique terroir of Darjeeling, with its cool temperatures, distinctive soil and rainfall, imparts a unique and naturally occurring quality that yields some of the most exceptional and sought after black teas in the world, where no two gardens or harvests taste alike.
